900 Auditor
- Description:
Conducts audits on food location registers and register tapes checking for discrepancies. On occasion will do actual location cash counts. Responsible for accurate reports on findings. Also will make location and employee observations and buying tests. Performs audits on restaurant guest checks, minor employee breaks, reviews invoices & inventory controls.Staff Auditors are involved in planning, performing, and reporting on financial and operational audits at the park, under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager. The position offers the chance to acquire a great deal of audit, accounting, and business experience, while working in a fun and professional atmosphere. You?ll benefit from exposure to all levels of company management and to the daily operations of our company. Assignments include mid-year audit analysis for our ?Big 4? external public accountants, testing the controls of various park operating cycles (Revenue, Cash, Accounting and Computer Systems, Payroll, Purchasing & Expenditures, Inventory, etc.), Sarbanes/Oxley testing, auditing cash registers at park locations, plus other projects. - Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instruction. Honesty and reliability a must. Experience working with figures, cash registers, and adding machines required. Flexibility to work various hours and assist in other positions as business warrants. Accounting background preferred.No audit experience is necessary, as training and guidance will be provided during the internship. Staff auditors must be highly motivated and able to work professionally with and without supervision. Excellent communication skills are necessary, as you?ll interact with top management on a regular basis and write reports for all audit work performed. Auditors must be willing to work approximately 48 hours per week, with one or two weekdays off and varying daily work schedules. Professional attire is necessary. Due to the various locations of audit sites in the park, auditors walk a great deal throughout the park each day. Candidates should be Accounting or Finance majors, have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 and have completed a basic accounting course before internship begins. Audit internships are also available at some of the other Cedar Fair parks. - Minimum Age:

903 Courtesy Car Driver
- Description:
Responsible for transporting guests to and from various locations on the Cedar Point peninsula. In addition, drivers are responsible for providing guests with park information and other topics of interest. These employees have direct guest contact so personality, cool-headedness, and a neat appearance are all strong considerations. Drivers will sometimes perform bellhop duties. - Qualifications:
Must be 18 or older. All applicants must provide a Drivers License # and have a good driving record. Have an interest in working intensely with the public. Ability to maintain composure and pleasant personality are a must. - Minimum Age:

904 Department Trainer
- Description:
Assists in the development and/or implementation of company/departmental training programs for seasonal employees. May be responsible for facilitating training classes, training location employees. Duties may also include data entry and general filing. - Qualifications:
Possess a high level of organizational, communication (verbal/written), and time management skills. Must have supervisory skills and the ability to speak in front of audiences. Previous training experience helpful. One or more years of Cedar Point work experience is preferred. Must exhibit tact, style, and grooming consistent with company image. - Minimum Age:

906 Laundry Attendant
- Description:
Prepares clean linen to be processed through the flatwork ironer, also includes handling, sorting and stacking of clean linen coming out of the folder or handling uniforms which could include sorting, hanging and folding. Operates a variety of laundry equipment and machinery. May be responsible for picking up and delivering linens, as well as, sorting and prepping of linens. Position may require standing for long periods of time and constant lifting, pushing and pulling. - Qualifications:
Able to work closely with other people. Comfortable around machinery. Able to work without constant supervision. Tolerant of heat. Some positions require a valid drivers license. Dependabilitiy a must. Ability to work 8-10 hours a day, six days a week. - Minimum Age:

908 Office Clerk/Data Entry
- Description:
Responsibilities include handling guest complaints, cashing checks, measuring children and issuing ride admission policy forms. General office duties, such as typing and filing are also part of this position. Also responsible for maintaining proper communications such as answering telephones, paging, and monitoring weather and ride downtimes. Maintains proper office policies and procedures in a business-like manner, answers telephones and takes concise messages. Responsible for key entry on IBM computer, and record keeping. May works directly with the public. Must be willing to be flexible with work schedule. - Qualifications:
Patient, poised, able to cope with special situations and work well under pressure. Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary. Must be well-groomed. Office experience is helpful. Should be able to courteously and tactfully handle guests in both positive and negative situations. It is required that all must be able to read, comprehend and speak the English language. - Minimum Age:

909 Information Assistant
- Description:
Responsible for answering the telephone for both park information calls and requests for free information. Staff answer questions and help guests plan their visit to Cedar Point. All information requests are entered into the computer. Staff also assists in answering e-mail, editing surveys and may conduct guest interviews. Additional duties also include mail preparation and general office duties. Positions begin in late March and run through October. Many positions begin in May. Excellent for Marketing and Tourism majors. May qualify for an internship. - Qualifications:
Employees should have a pleasant personality, be very courteous and have a good, clear voice. Typing or data-entry and computer skills are required. Must be willing to work various shifts between 8:00 a. m. and 8:00 p.m. - Minimum Age:

911 Wardrobe Clerk
- Description:
Duties include fitting employees for their uniforms and selling accessories. Clerks take in used uniforms and return clean uniforms. Also responsible for folding and putting away clean uniforms. Wardrobe clerks serve their peers rather than the public. - Qualifications:

912 Warehouse Attendant
- Description:
Delivers products to locations throughout the park. Unloads delivery trucks and places food, beverages, paper supplies, etc. in proper storage areas. Follows safe driving procedures while using company vehicles. Performs miscellaneous jobs relating to Warehouse operation, such as cleaning of location and vehicles. Hours vary. - Qualifications:
Able to work shifts as early as 6:00 a.m. or as late as 2:00 a.m. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Ability to handle heavy lifting and carrying (approx. 75 lbs.), pushing 2-wheel and 4-wheel carts containing heavy loads (over 100 lbs.). Must be able to withstand below zero degree temperatures for long periods of time when working in the freezers while wearing provided protective clothing. Must maintain a well-groomed appearance at all times. Honesty, reliability, and common sense a must. Experience preferred. Tow motor operator's license preferred. Flexibility to work various hours and assist in other positions as business warrants. - Minimum Age:
